As a future pilot, I would like to say: GOOD SHOW! Tom Cruise in Top Gun was at the peak of his hotness! 1986 was a good year for him. The actors were awesome, and I just can't get enough of this movie! For a movie that's almost 20 yrs old, it's still kickin it! No matter how many times you watch it, it's like it is the first time you watch it. The fighter scenes are awesome! Gotta love that after burn!

With a story like its Top Gun is a major failor, but as a film thats generally fun to watch its worthwhile, with wonderfully directed air scenes. Its biggest problem is that sometimes you feel like its more of a comercial for the Air Force saying "if you join us you just might get to fly some sweet planes, and get all the hot girls, see ya there!"

Having just seen the movie "Top Gun" for the first time in 2006 twenty years after it's original release I'd have to say it was pretty darn good! The aerial scenes were my favorite! I have never seen anything as magnificent as this in a movie before! They took my breath away and made me feel like I was along for the ride. The scenes on the ground were equally as good between Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis and the rest of the crew, "Ice," "Goose," and "Vipe." They seemed very realistic of the type of people involved in the Air Force. The way the director Tony Scott pulled this entire picture together was Oscar-worthy! I highly recommend this movie because it has 'all the right moves!'

When I was in 10th grade, the High School concert band I was with began sightreading the score and song to this flik! I had no clue what the movie was or about! But, when I saw it on TV, I thought,"WOW!! Who was the producer?" I then saw the name "Jerry Bruckheimer", and I simply said,"It all fits in perfectly! Only Bruckheimer could come up with a movie this great!" Awesome eye candy for the guys and the girls! Awesome tale of pilots going all the way in the U.S. Armed Forces! Absolutely amazing aerial photography for the action sequences! See it, you will love it! By the way, "The Danger Zone" is my favorite 80's song!

I first saw this movie when I was about 7, and 5 years later, I still think this is a great movie.I'm am never tired of it and it is just simply a really good movie to see. I recommend it to people that like love stories, but like a little action in it too. This would not be a good movie for somebody that doesn't like realistic or all-action movies.
